Our Journey
ZASFAT Islamic Society of Nigeria was founded in 1984 by Maolana Yah Shaykh Al-Quluwb Akorede Jagun R.T.A. in Kano, Nigeria. What began as a small spiritual gathering at No. 12 Odutola Mosque in Sabon Gari, Kano, has evolved into a renowned Islamic society dedicated to Sufism, religious enlightenment, and community development.
Through the divine guidance of Allah, ZASFAT has expanded beyond its initial base, establishing branches across Nigeria, including Oyo, Ibadan, Ilora, and Iseyin, as well as internationally in Benin Republic and beyond. Our growth reflects the commitment and dedication of our members, who continue to uphold our mission of spreading Islamic teachings and fostering spiritual growth.

Our Mission
At ZASFAT, our mission is to:
✔️ Promote Islamic knowledge through education, research, and the dissemination of spiritual and scholarly works.
✔️ Encourage spiritual growth by guiding individuals in Sufism, personal discipline, and devotion to Allah.
✔️ Establish a strong faith-based community by creating platforms for collective worship, prayers, and religious gatherings.
✔️ Empower individuals and society by providing educational institutions, healthcare services, and humanitarian aid.
Our society is rooted in the principles of love, unity, and enlightenment, offering a sanctuary for all who seek to deepen their understanding of Islam and connect with the divine.

Our Legacy

That same year, we inaugurated our ZASFAT Masjid Headquarters and Quranic Center in Iseyin, Oyo State, further solidifying our presence as a pillar of faith and spiritual guidance.
With over 30 years of service to the Ummah, ZASFAT continues to be a beacon of Islamic wisdom and enlightenment, bridging the past, present, and future through its teachings and community-driven initiatives.
